William Hamilton & Sons (Contractors) Ltd has been in business since 1882, with a horse & cart in those days; it is now into its 5th generation of the Hamiltonfamily.

Although Haulage was always part of the business, so also was Agricultural Contracting up until 1991.

It was then that the company expanded its Haulage business and entered into hiring mechanical road sweeping brushes, loading shovels and tipping lorries as well as landfill, recycling of soils and quarry material supplying services

William Hamilton & Sons traditional roots were reflected in the company’s until now, traditional livery.

However, to celebrate the firms growing success through innovation, technology and its fleet of state-of-the-art, specialist vehicles, OPG was asked to create a new, modern look for their fleet branding.

The brief was to design an abstract concept which projected dynamism and motion based around a restricted colour palette reflecting the firm’s corporate colours.

OPG was delighted to create this fresh, eye-catching design that is both, distinctive and decorative, which everyone believes is already a classic!

Using eco-friendly, HP water based latex inks printed onto 3M premium cast films with protective clear laminates, William Hamilton & Sons is assured their new fleet graphics will continue to perform for years to come as it signals the firm’s prolific distinctive presence on our road network.
