OPG supply vehicle wraps for Knockhill legends

Burnett Motor Sports wanted something special for their new Specsavers sponsors livery on a couple of their Legends Race Cars for season 2010.

Steve McColl, Race Manager turned to OPG with a tight brief and an even tighter deadline.

Design visuals, modifications, test prints and vehicle wraps turned around within 48 hours ensured the car was sporting this new number one livery at the weekend.

These ‘go faster stripes’ did exactly what they were meant to do - The car was a winner on and off the track!

car #1 the burnettmotosport team car is reserved for champions.  Ross Marshall, the Scottish Champion delivered not once but twice by winning 2 races, not to mention the fastest lap time of the day on Saturday.

Knockhill ledgends event

Incidentally, his stable mate, Alister Gauld, was competing in car #21, flying the colours of his sponsor, Havelock Computer Systems – another fine example of vehicle wrapping from OPG.

Legends car racing is a style of race car, designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down. The bodyshells are 5/8-scale replicas of American automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, powered by a Yamaha motorcycle engine.
